Coordinators can help you make the best use of the leading-edge ICT available in the Learning Commons.
Thinking of studying or working abroad? Meet with a knowledgeable Study Abroad Coordinator or Go Global Assistant to ask questions and get advice.
These students assist the learning support coordinators and the counter staff. They help keep the learning environment in order, and can help you find your way around the Commons facilities.
ICT “red” helpers can assist you with computer basics and instruct you on the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other software.
ICT “blue” helpers in the Multimedia Lounge can help you with video editing, photo retouching, and other types of media editing and processing.
At least two helpers are always available at the Print Station to assist with the copy machines, explain the many printing options, and to offer advice about designs and copyright issues. They can work with you to design and print affordably-priced custom T-shirts, hooded sweatshirts, and other wearable goods.
Speak to the staff to reserve a space or borrow and return equipment.
